Why hire a pet sitter?
Whether I am caring for your pet in my home or at your home, overall it is less stressful then a kennel. The pets get plenty of individualized attention. When your pet is "lodging" at my home they are in a quiet suite with soft music playing during the day. I am available to check on them often and even during the night they are not alone. You are welcome to call or email at any time for an update on your pet. When I am caring for your pet at your home I will also bring in mail, water plants and alternate lights at no additional cost.
Who will be caring for your pet?
Alison Smith, the owner, will be the only one caring for your pet.

What if your pet needs medication?
If your pet needs medication there is no need to worry. I am a Veterinary Technician with years of experience administering medications to animals. I can provide oral medication, injections and SQ fluids as needed.
What animals can lodge at Petz-R-Us?
At Petz-R-Us we have accommodations for the following pets to take a "vacation": Rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, birds, reptiles and small pocket pets.
Pets who prefer to stay at home while their guardians are traveling can receive the same quality care. Petz-R-Us will service residences within 10 miles of my zip code, 21702. I will also care for cats in their own homes. The only animal that Petz-R-Us does not provide services for are dogs.

Petz-R-Us offers 3 convenient ways that you can pay for your pets care. We accept cash, Check, Master Card or Visa.
How do you make a reservation?
Reservations can be arranged by calling 301-639-7280 or by clicking on the Request for Service tab along the top border of this website.If you choose to request service from the website there is a 24 hr response time and is not guaranteed until I confirm the reservation.
Does Petz-R-Us offer transport service?
